a few months ago we went to visit my boyfriends friends parents. The dad didnt talk to me the first time he met me, and i quote ¨i dont have anything in common with anyone from eastern europe¨so he didnt talk to me. My bf informed him i was from the US and he talked my ear off. He is correct though, my mom is eastern european heritage and my grandparents fled during ww2 to avoid being persecuted. This is commom for me to be correctly identified as Jewish, as my family came from the old Sovient union. I always laugh when they try to speak anything but english, i have even had Russian patients wake up from surgery calling me their russian or Jewish princess.. I guess they are correct.

I havent heard of this movie, i will have to watch it!
