Do you feel that there has to be more to life than living the same life day in and day out?

Have you become “Robotic,” and things no longer excite or energize you.?

I was the robot; it was me. I would go to work, drive on autopilot, get my assignment, and the day began the same.

Patients, doctors, co-workers, and everything were the same monotonous tasks.

The days start the same, medications, orders, rounds. Even if the patient was different, the routine was the same.

It is acceptable for some, but I was slowly dying inside.

Being a digital nomad seemed like a far-off dream.

I just wanted to travel and not run out of money, so even if I found a job that might still be monotonous, I lived in a new country every three months or more.

I was meeting new people and learning new languages. I knew I would do whatever it took to pursue my dream.

So I jumped and never looked back.

What is Burnout?
