Dear Medium,

Thank You for giving me a place to help me find my voice.

Thank You for giving me a place to write without judgment.

Thank You for creating a supportive community.

I see you have been getting a lot of hate because you changed. I was not around apparently for the “glory” days of Medium.

As many of you have written about.

I was only a lone reader at the time.

So I do not understand why everyone is so angry.

There are so many places out there that sensor what you can say, I am looking at you YouTube, Facebook, Instagram.

However, Medium has been known to send their subscribers newsletters that in the title throw shade to your site.

You are promoting their article and they are hating on you.

I quit my job 3 years ago.

I saw what I didn’t like, I handed in my resignation and I slipped quietly into the night.

Guess what, you, yes you complaining. You can do this too.

Go reinvent yourself somewhere else, we do not need your hate here.

And all the articles about Medium changing, come on enough already.
