Do not live in Cartagena.. its hot as hell, and expensive and too many tourists!! Visit for 2 days!

Medellin everyone loves it, too many white people for me.. but great scene if you need that connection. Some places are requiring a vax passport.. like events that are big.. I am unvaxxed also so i know all about the unvax life!

Guatape! YES YES YES.. its actually near where I live.

It is touristy, yet have a local vibe, and coffee shops and lakes to see. I think its only touristy on the weekends, pretty much same as my town.

I live 1.5 hours from Guatape.. but my old spanish teacher lives there, so i could connect you two, he would be happy to befriend you. He speaks english and is a cool dude.

The places i mention are sort of touristy everywhere kind of is... but usually weekends only, if that makes sense, plus you want somewher that has tourists it means good coffee shops and more things available. my town not touristy, horrible coffee shops and sucky shopping!!
