That time I went mushing! I was scared to death, and it was amazing!!

I live in a valley in the middle of the mountains of Antioquia. To get out of my valley it takes about 2 hours on a winding, very treacherous road.

It is half dirt, half paved. On one side of the bus is a mountain with falling rocks. The other side is of a cliff or hillsides, half tree-covered, so it hides the cliffs, but they are there!

Let me just say, if the bus slides, we all die. I think this every time I am on the bus.

Every time I get on an airplane I accept my fate. If it is my time it is my time.

I say the same thing every time I get on the bus. Sometimes the drivers take the turns so fast you feel the entire bus rock back and forth.

They are so used to it, so I just sit and say if it is my time, let it be.

There are only so many things you can control in your life. Whether or not the bus you pick or the airplane you pick is going to make it, is out of your control.
