Do you ever feel as if you are so busy struggling to breathe?

That has been my feeling lately.

Sheep I saw on a walk in Colombia

I am currently in the US. I had a trip planned to come here on April 25, which would be in a few days.

However, my new niece decided that she wanted to enter the world a few weeks earlier than planned. My sister had an emergency C-section last week, and my new baby niece -Birdie, made her entrance.

She was then swiftly taken away to the NICU, and now she is in special care; momma and baby are doing well. My sister is already home, and we will see the baby later today.

That said, before I came here, I began taking a class and am still in it. Like most classes, it is at your leisure, but if I do it at my leisure, I will never complete it.

So, as I try to balance my normal life with family life and gather documents to get my visa for Colombia, sometimes it can be overwhelming.

As much as I love my family, sometimes I feel useless when I visit; everyone and I have a routine. However, my work is all related to me being on the computer, and if I do not produce or stay on schedule, I make no income.

Where no one cares if I am working, I do. I feel guilty.
