Exhaustion

Three days on the farm

I just got back from taking the dogs for a walk — their fourth or fifth of the day.

Today, we fixed the fence so they couldn’t escape, but when I let Baki roam free, he ended up on the road. So now I have to figure out how he escaped.

Well, it is not that hard to escape, as only half of the fence is fixed, and the other half is hidden behind coffee trees, but for a naughty puppy, that is nothing.

He came back covered in mud, and many weeds stuck to his fur. They are matted in, and I will have to sit down one day and cut them out or pull them one at a time.

The sun has been fierce these past three days, precisely how long I have been at my new house. Tomorrow, I will sign the official papers, so it is mine!

Yet, as I sit in a half-unpacked house, my eyelids are barely open.
