Hey You, I think I am in Love.
no, not you; the other you
I got up early this morning to ensure the bus was not too full. Luckily I grabbed one of the last spots.
I was warned that the journey would not be the most pleasant, and even the kid next to me said many people get scared on the buses. I looked at him and said well, I survived three crazy bus rides around one of the deepest canyons in the world; I will put my headphones in and sleep, which I did.
When I woke up once, I saw the road full of cows and the driver honking them out of the way. I knew instantly that I was headed in the right direction.
Outside the city, the trees outside my window were green and lush, we drove by a lake with the bluest water for miles, and then I fell back asleep.
We arrived in what looked like a fairy tale town when I woke up. Nestled in the Caucasus mountains, Mestia is one of the most touristy destinations in Georgia, or that is what two people on the bus told me and said I must leave after a day because ¨ it’s so full of tourists¨.
