First time I shaved my head.

I am not sure why in my soul I always had the desire to shave my head. It was something that I thought about and dreamt about for about 10 years. First, I hated my hair.

It was so damaged from the years of dye jobs, sun, and products. Also, I did not know what to do with my hair.

I grew up without a mother, and no one else around me ever taught me how to “do my hair”. My siblings and I are the same. It’s a struggle.

When I had a “normal” life, living in Los Angeles, working as a nurse, dating, socializing. The look is so important. It is so shallow to think about it, but we are visual creatures.

Look around how many people try to fix themselves. Prevent aging. Getting injections, surgery, and putting themselves at risk to look a certain way.
