How Yoga Came Into My Life At Just The Right Moment

I have always been obsessed with exercising and naturally energetic, so my choice of workouts always involved something upbeat and very intense.

The first time I took a yoga class, I said, this is not for me, who wants to barely move and sit in silence at the end for 10 minutes. I took one class, and then I didn’t take another for at least two years.

Plus, I could not touch my toes with my hands, and it was so painful that I could barely function in the class. Yet that is what we do, the thing we need the most we avoid. Let’s say it was probably the type of exercise I needed the most.
