I absolutely love this!! I sort of did something similar. When i was younger i wanted to climb the ladder, then one day I thought for what, a dollar more an hour, and more stress. I quit my job took a per diem job, no meetings, no expectations, show up do my job and go home. and i made double the money, for less stress!

LOVE that you chose to do your job, and enjoy life instead of climbing the corporate ladder in uncomfortable shoes!
