I am not the only one who doesn’t like Medellin

But in the minority

Recently I had a friend in town, in Medellin so the city. We had met when we both lived in Buenos Aires; we survived quarantine together.

When he was able to start traveling again, he came to check out Medellin. He works online, so he chose to spend a month in the city. I encouraged him to leave the city as I feel that I am the only person who does not like Medellin.

I have said this since the first time I visited in 2018. I prefer Bogota.

I am one of the few foreigners who will tell you this. I have many reasons, but I will never discourage you from visiting and making your mind up. Since we are free thinkers here, we can decide if we like a place on our own.

Most think my love for Bogota is insane and tell me that I am crazy. I let them believe what they want; they, too, are free thinkers.

When I found out he was coming, I recommended spending a few days in Medellin and getting out of there since he is similar to me. Hence we are friends.
