I could not have said it better " It is a choice or hobby to learn a second language" spot on. I always complain about how hard it is, but in reality most immigrants have picked up their entire lives, the family that could leave, and they say goodbye, sometimes forever. I agree those with different backgrounds and language, and experience is always way more fun!
