i def have to visit ecuador again.. when i visited a few years ago i was not a fan either, except the amazon that was my favorite place in the world!!

I am glad you found a spot that you can call home. It sounds so much like my little pueblo. Living in a warm climate to me is key, and the slow pace of living in the countryside is priceless. adjusting def takes time, as i have had many of the same experiences where i am living.
