I Failed

I had a goal to write everyday and I already missed 3 days. Here’s why.

I live in a very, very, small town in Colombia.

Here it is normal for the electricy to go out, but usually no longer than 12 hours.

When the electricity resumes, so does the internet.

Well not this time. The power in the entire pueblo went out on Thursday night, and resumed mid- afternoon Friday.

The internet was also out. Normally it resumes shortly after. However, not this time.

The internet in the entire pueblo was out for 3 days!

I have gone without wifi for longer. I lived in Argentina for 2 months off grid. I can survive with no wifi. That was not the problem.

For me, I am very disorganized. I am used to having internet at home, or walking to a coffee shop to use the wifi, it never occured to me, I would not have wifi.
