I Gave Free Tarot Readings On Tinder During Quarantine

Dating online sucks, so I made it fun; why not?

It was April 2020. I had just lost my job, and I was in quarantine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I lived in a house of students fifteen plus years younger than me, and I was bored to tears.

I did what most single people did during quarantine; I decided to online virtual date because of boredom and thought it would help improve my Spanish.

That did not happen as I could google translate, and there was a global pandemic I was trying to survive. Learning Spanish took a backseat.

Plus I was depressed after losing my job. Borders shut, and I needed some form of entertainment outside of Netflix.

I joined Tinder, not planning on doing tarot readings; it just happened. I gave readings to all my roommates and friends; I needed to expand my audience.

I studied tarot and reiki in lockdown, and reading my friends and housemates was simple. When I read someone I know, I already know their energy and can effortlessly tap into it. When I opened Tinder, it was to meet people in Argentina since we thought lockdown would be shorter than it was.

Story of 2020 and hello Tinder.
