i have had two remote jobs since i left the US in 2018.. and yep job security a myth, i was laid off april 2020, and that was that. I felt like i was glued to my laptop, it was sooo much work, somedays i wished to go back to the hospital!!

Not including the one job paid so bad, and was in my profession..

I hope you find your balance, it does take time.
