I have heard that exact statement "who will take care of you when you are old".. I never understand. So many people have kids and they do not even speak!

I always so I will take care of myself and will not have to burden anyone else. I have seen this a lot in the hospital. the parent child relationship can turn so toxic also.

My grandmother was a secretary and had 6 kids, she just did what was "expected" of her. She used to talk about how she really wanted to be a nurse, and travel. She never did.

Giving kids back is the best part of being an aunt!!

I am the same, I hope that i can leave it a little better, and if it is the fact that i did not contribute to more people, I am ok with that.
