I have similar feelings to buying. Except deep in the mountains, near a river or lake. Def not far from an international airport.

I thought about buying here in Colombia, and could get a permanent residence and pay cash for a little house and piece of land. I found out that it is not possible ( i can buy, but not get a visa unless i spend way more than i would like) . And since the visa is max 6 months in one year for a tourist doesn't make sense.

So now since rent is cheap, I will rent little houses, in the mountains, when my visa is up leave, or not. Yet still not sure either. You just never know.

I love the idea of turning wifi off at 6..
