I have to be able to have a conversation with someone, however with my last ex i was instantly attracted to him, and we had a great connection, but once the emotional connection was gone, it was all GONE...

I have always told people i need to be emotionally connected before it goes further. I like to be friends, and have lost guy friends because they think i am into them and i am not. I am not flirty, I am not good at online dating. I have to meet the person and get to know them before it goes anywhere. I guess this is why i have dated one guy in the past 5 years on a serious level.

I completely understand this, and had no idea it was a thing. The other day I was just wondering why some people seem so flirty effortlessly, but i can look at a guy and think hes hot haha, but thats it, if he would talk to me i would clam up and be a weirdy.
