i have worked in tons of hospitals all over the country and have never encountered anything like this. I am really curious as to how she could do her job if this is how she felt, and if she was vocal about it at work, how she did not get fired.

I have had racist patient's though, and it is awful.

She must of kept it hidden and her coworkers didn't care, she should be flagged, as a "never give this woman blood, even in an emergency" on her file. What a royal bitch.

I am a nurse, and have never given blood, but for reasons like when i have tried i have been sent away for not meeting the requirements.
