I never felt addicted nor had withdrawals from alcohol either.. i did the same thing you did.. daily drink.. then its too much,stop for a few days to prove i can do it, justify why i drank... .. get upset drink that day.. went out with my friends drank too much(all subjective, how much is too much, for me 3 is too much) .. feel like crap and repeat the cycle..
If you wrote this article about your drinking... that says more than than any of your "reasons" and justifying your drinking.. i say this because i used to do the same.
I quit 2 years ago and that was that.
