I Officially Moved To Colombia

Never did I think I would move to South America, especially Colombia.

Let me tell you how the media can screw up your view of the outside world. Especially when you live in the cacoon of the US of A.

Especially what people think of Colombia. My family was terrified when I told them I wanted to visit.

Isn’t it dangerous? There are drugs all over. People will kidnap you.

I have heard it all.

And here I am still, living in Colombia.

Do I ever feel in danger- No.

Am I smart when I travel, yes.

Is this specific to Colombia — No, I take the same precautions in any country.

In the US, we have EVERYTHING at our fingertips.

We just don’t realize it until we leave.

And literally, experience the real world.
