I resonate with this. My friends were always richer, lived in nicer houses, I was poor and lived on a farm. I was dirty, I worked in the garden. I struggled. I at many times have been the toxic friend, gossiped too much to fit in. All because I was hurt and lost.

Strategizing is survival when you feel different and the outsider.
