I think people should be able to live how they want, marry who they want. I remember when the same sex marriage law was passed, I lived in LA and a bunch of my friends were able to marry who they wanted, my best friend married her partner, I was in her wedding.

It was two people who love each other getting married, love is love. The fact that they could not do that a few years prior, boggles my mind. I also lived with her as she was debating her sexuality, and finally came out, so maybe to me it was a bit closer to my heart, and i was emotionally invested.

Now they have 3 adopted children, and i think if they were not allowed to marry the 3 kids they adopted would not have a family, its all a ripple.

I think that it should not be up for debate, but it seems like everything has to be approved.

I love that phrase about Maya Angelou, believe people when they show you who they are, so true.
