i worked as a waitress all through college, and def reaped the benefits of being tipped. Now that i live in a country that tipping is not common, unless they ask you to include servicio, and then i will other than that nope.

I honestly love the no tipping culture. I turned on my tip thingy here because why the hell not.. i am not setting up a ko fi or anything. It will not affect my writing or reading! I will continue as I have for the past 11 months, write, read, repeat!!

great points!!! I now look at the tipping culture north to me as kind of shitty, and i would rather workers be paid a fair wage, vs customers paying their salary, or i have been in colombia too long!
