Is Alcohol The New Cigarette/Tobacco Tycoon Of Our Generation?

But do we really need a reason to quit drinking poison?

As I was looking for any picture that could depict the dangers of alcohol, all I found were images glorifying alcohol.

This is exactly the problem. 30 years ago, the same was done with smoking. They glorified how good smoking was for you, just so they could sell cigarettes. Knowing once you started you were hooked, addicted.

Obviously not the fault of the manufacturer for creating a substance that makes you want more? It is the fault of us humans right because we are weak?

The alcohol industry is doing the same thing on a much larger scale.

We have all seen this happening slowly. Maybe you are not ready to admit that it is happening, but it is.

If you don’t believe me, just look up vintage Marlboro ads and see for yourself.

Has alcohol become the new cigarette? Why is it so glorified?
