Most of us stress too much in our everyday life, why?
Is everything an emergency?
“You must learn to let go. Release the stress. You were never in control anyway.”
― Steve Maraboli
We got a couch yesterday, we didn’t go out and buy it or anything, but it was my boyfriend’s couch that he had a friend’s house in the city. So we just paid a guy to bring it to us.
Things move back and forth; there are no delivery vans or Uhaul. I don’t know; we do everything through a person who knows a person, who knows a person.
You can almost guarantee that you will never know when to receive your item, but it will be delivered roughly within a 3–4 day window. How do I know they will provide because you do not pay them until they drop off the goods — all transactions in cash.
We do not Paypal or use a credit card to reserve or guarantee anything. It is the good old-fashioned word of mouth, and trust that if someone says they will do it, they will do it.
We had a rough idea that it would make it, but when I asked my boyfriend when he says, “this is Colombia, it will get here sometime this week, I think.”
