my only issue with the 1950s is the women having to listen to the husband and not having the ability to do what she chooses.. otherwise it sounds like my life where i live.. no microwave, no dryer, no iron.. but me and my guy do share responsibilities in the kitchen and house.. and we both work together on the business...I love reading about this time, i love the music from the 50s, and always imagine what life was like back then
