I am obsessed with living off-grid. I am learning to live with what I produce on my land and eventually become 100% self-sustainable without needing outside help.

It may be a pipe dream, but it has been my current obsession for a few years.

Every day, I think of one thing that I can do in my daily life to make me less reliant on ¨the man¨.

The world is wild, and who knows what will happen, not just in November but also in the foreseeable future?

Except I don’t have this off-grid learning to live with less because of anything political or what is happening in the world.

It is in the back of my mind, but this dream started long ago.

It started when I realized I was wasting resources and was dependent on others for everything, at that time, even for my happiness. This was a time when all was well in the world.

Ten to fifteen years ago, we thought all was well—it was a facade, an illusion. Even then, I saw the cracks and holes in what we were being told.
