Talladigga sounds like my kind of place! I have never been to Alabama, but i am sure i would love it.

My hometown is Edmonton, Ky is similar, big courthouse in the center surrounded by a garden.

The hayday must of been same, in the 1900's.. it was a dry town up until a few years ago.. when i was there last summer there were still no bars in town.
