the pay in california is a lot, most stay in their car because they live in another part of california go to LA or san fran make a lot of money and only work 6 months out of the year. A lot are travelers also, which they get paid for housing, but if you stay in your car you just pocket the money. But california they are paid well, but with everything greed comes into the picture. I only was in my car a few months, it was a short term solution, but i would never do it long term. it was stressful.
