This entire article reminds me of my childhood once i moved in with my grandmother, and I am old enough to realize how fucked up the US is, with diet, sugar free, crap.

My grandmother always cooked, and NEVER ate, she was always on a diet also. (not the one i lived with) The one I lived with was the typical "pudgy" happy grandmother.

But my city grandmother would rather drink vodka and water (no calories) than eat anything she made.

But just growing up in the 90's-2000's ( i was born in 80).. but i was ALWAYS on a diet, especially when toxic skinny models who looked like they were coked out of their brain was considered beautiful.

I have been curvy my whole life, so move over kim k..

but i alway struggled with boobs, and big hips/butt and i wanted to look like kate moss. even though my waiste was a 25 i told myself i was fat. ( yes i measured myself cuz i was so messed up about this)

I took diet pills when i was 25... i am surprised my metabolism is not fucked up now.

I didnt stop worrrying about what i look like until i left the US in 2018.. that is how messed up the US diet culture is.. this article brought back every single memory, of me too eating diet jello with cool whip (zero calories!!). So bad..

I am going to have some cookies now and let my boyfriend tell me how sexy i am cuz i am curvy ahah.

Loved everything about this article!!
