We have so many similarities in our story about being Jewish. However the only ones who have ever held it against me were my fathers family, and they were nasty.

Even where I grew up in Kentucky, where there are no Jews, no one cared. T

hen I worked at two Jewish hospitals, were it was normal to be Jewish, even if by blood they accepted me.

I try to not get into discussions with people such as your friend as I can often empathize with people but I get upset when others cant empathize with what I have to say.

I don´t like to be lumped into one category simply because of my DNA, and agree everyone should have the same equal human rights, regardless of religion, DNA, background, color and we should not judge others on these ¨things¨ because of how we were born. Great read.
