When I lived in Buenos Aires during quarantine, I had a group of ex pat friends it was nice to know others who knew my culture, especially during a global pandemic.

Now living in my small colombian town, there are none. I get so excited when i will meet someone from the US on occassion through my boyfriends work.

My bf too native colombian, very little english doesnt get some of my humor, or jokes at times. It is good to have those around you who do.
