Why do most people in healthcare think they can fix everyone? I quit
I am here on this earth to fix everyone; it was my story for longer than I can remember.
It was my job; I am an ICU nurse; even though I no longer work at the bedside, I am still a nurse, my license is active, and I can return to work if needed. I would not choose the ICU, but that is another story.

I went into nursing subconsciously thinking that I could save the world and fix you. I never said that out loud since I know how unrealistic it is to believe I could “fix” everyone, but that was a massive part.
I wanted to make an impact in the world.
This mindset unfortunately overflowed into my personal life. I THOUGHT THAT everyone I dated or befriended needed me to save them or fix them. I, of course, took this upon myself.
