Why Do We Punish Those Who Speak Two Languages In The USA?

If you speak Spanish and are not white, why are you automatically profiled?

We are one of the few countries that actually look down on those who are bilingual.

Let me clarify, if you are rich and bilingual you are not looked down on, you are educated.

If you are not in the top 1% you are given the side-eye, and maybe treated differently.

Obviously, you are an immigrant. Probably illegal right?

Since the US is not a country built on immigration, wait, or is it?

For those wondering, The United States of America is a country built on immigration. Not just white immigrants, all colors not just white Europeans.

My favorite thing about the US is the diversity!

From the original settlers who came over from Europe, bringing disease and killing off the Native Americans to the forced migration aka the slave trade.
