Why I hate the YouTubers who exploit the women of Colombia

A rant

I spend a lot of time researching on YouTube, which means I watch many YouTube videos. I have had a YouTube channel since I started traveling.

It is a passion project, and lately, I have been spending more time doing videos. Many people say to me, oh, you are still doing that silly video thing, then ask me when I am going to get a real job.

Nothing can irritate a creator more than saying this. I have always had a more creative side and pushed it down because a creative life does not pay the bills. So ok, that is what some people think, and then there are us who will continue creating and proving them wrong.

Ok, back to my rabbit hole of YouTube.

Since I live in Colombia, my channel focuses on content in Colombia. Lately, all the videos I have watched about Colombia are these YouTubers talking about how dangerous it is here. It can be hazardous here, yet so can your home country.

My boyfriend told me that since this is a time of elections and a new presidential election soon, it is better to take more precautions; however, as a tourist, you will not see this. He said, if you avoid the protests, you will be fine.
