Why I refuse to throw gasoline on a problem that is not solved by hate
“Strength lies in differences, not in similarities” ― Stephen R. Covey
Yesterday was my boyfriend’s mom’s birthday. So we went into town to have lunch with her and, of course, celebrate.
We stayed until the dark and ominous clouds started to roll in, which meant we had to roll out. We travel on a motorcycle, and getting stuck in the rain with the dog is never fun.
So we said our goodbyes and came home. Of course, the rains never came, yet it might have rained in town. We have micro climates here, it can be sunny and gorgeous in town, and I have a thunderstorm here on my mountain.
I love this. Plus, I love thunderstorms and rain, and so does my garden.
When we arrived home, I went into the kitchen to make a cup of tea and feed the dog. At first, I didn’t notice anything until I lit the fire.
A pile of 6 fish was on the counter! It was not expected, it looked like someone threw them in the window near the stove, and they were laying there, eyeballs staring up at me and gutted.
