wow.. i am glad you were able to get out of this situation.. it can be tricky once they get you in their grips..

I was married to a narc.. and he was toxic, i too didn't listen to my intuition. After reading this, I realize i have had a lot of "friends" in my life, i just thought they were selfish, and eventually got them out of my life. I am like you an empath and very go with the flow, i don' t like to cause issues, i have been walked all over by these so called friends as well.

so sorry you had to go through this and so happy you got out of it.
