Wow. I have lived DTLA and know exactly what those streets are like at night. I have also taken the subway and public buses.. I do not think I would ever do it after dark! I love this challenge.. I think getting outside of our comfort zone is the only place we really grow.

I used to take care of a lot of homeless when I worked at UCLA... and a lot of them would go to the hospital for rest.. I mean they were always sick from the streets, and it was a safe place to eat, shower and recharge. I also met a lot that preferred to be homeless than stay in the shelters, saying they were more dangerous than the streets.

A lot of them told me they would receive free food from restaurants in Santa Monica also. So what is your next step.. I feel that after sleeping on the streets in LA and surviving, you can do anything.
