yep. this is a common occurance here, especially during the wet season. I am lucky it happened once and like you i freaked out, but now have regrouped and have plans in place! like always have my headlamp and extra phone battery charged. thats about it, oh and candles! we have a lot, and we cook with gas, which we have a tank but we also have a wood stove, and you know all colombians cook outside if they have too! it is scary to think, that it might become a more common occurance. Glad you got it back on!
