you are not alone, i hate getting gifts, i hate giving gifts. I tell everyone do not get me a gift that you have to buy, ever!

I will not get you one, and then i feel akward and usually hate it.

I will cook you dinner, watch your kids, walk your dog, anythign but go looking for something that you will also hate.

Since moving abroad luckily i do not have to worry. My boyfriend will build me a closet or make me something and that to me is a gift that i love! He doesnt do it for xmas, yet because he is just thoughtful all the time, not once a year!
