Do you ever start a story and accidentally delete your title? That happened to me today. I sat down to write, and the next thing I knew, I was being called away to do something.

So I thought I had saved at least the title, but nope, zilch, nada, it’s all gone. Lately, I have been working on my titles and then writing my articles. Not this one, though, because, well, it disappeared.

Yet again, I am lying in my bed, freezing. The dry season should have started but is still rainy and cold.

The first year I lived in Colombia, it rained every night, so I assumed that that was normal since Colombia is one of the rainiest countries. I found out later that year was one of the wettest years in recent history.

The year after was one of the driest, but due to visa issues, I was only here for half the year.

So, I secretly hope this year is again a rainy year, minus the cold.

I do not have heat or a stove in my little casita, but I have many blankets. Today was one of the rainiest days this week.

Typically, it’s a bit rainy in the morning, and then it clears up, but not today. The cloud hung over the house all day, and eventually, we had an afternoon…
